China Railway Tunnel Group ( abbreviated as “CRTG”), founded in 1978, is the largest engineering enterprise specialized in tunnelling and underground works of China, and the backbone member of China Railway Group Limited which is listed in the Fortune 500. The Group, integrating survey & design, construction, scientific R&D and equipment manufacture, has always been actively engaged in scientific research, technology breakthrough and new technology promotion and application. Technical management of the Group has realized standardization, reutilization and scientification.
In the past thirty years, the Group has made key achievements in extra-long & large mountain tunnel construction technology, underwater tunnel construction technology and urban rail transit construction technology field. The Group cultivated and maintained its professional dominant position in tunnelling and underground work industry of China.
In recent years, the Group has consecutively undertaken T221 Project and T216 Project through the first rectangular shield tunnel machine in Singapore, and successfully won the bid for Contract 885 Construction of Prince Edward Station and Tunnels for Circle Line 6 in 2017.
